Jetstream 41 Flight Simulator
Our aircraft is the fourth prototype and was first flown on the 8th July 1992. Originally registered G-JAMC after Alan MacDonald, the managing director of British Aerospace Prestwick, it was also allocated G-JXLI although this was never taken up. G-JMAC was used as a company demonstrator, pilot trainer and test aircraft. G-JMAC completed a successful tour of Austrailasia, took part in cabin noise reduction trials and steep approach trials into London City Airport. It last flew in the year 2000 having aquired less than 900 hours flight time on the airframe.

She was then promoted by SAHG and transformed into our flight simulator by our very own Roy Coates, in January 2004 and has proven very popular with both the general public and members of the group ever since. As computer technology has improved over the years we have kept Roy busy bringing the sim up to date.

Whilst we have owned G-JMAC she has also been used in many film and TV appearances, cabin crew training, aviation badge qualifications for youth groups and even for guide dog training.

Should you require any further information, or would like to book some sim time please get in touch via our contact page or the link below.
